My Story

Hi, I'm Katerina, a young adult living with Charcot Marie Tooth Disease (CMT). CMT is a neuromuscular disease that affects the peripheral nerves and leads to atrophy in the muscles.

Only receiving a diagnosis at seventeen, I've had to adapt to living with constant pain and a physical disability. These changes have resulted in the everyday use of leg braces and occasionally a wheelchair.

I have a bachelor's in psychology and hope to one day be a Child Life Specialist. Some of my passions include dance, choreography, and writing. In the last few years, God has used me to be a light to those suffering from pain, illness, and limitation.
